Emtec Consulting Engineers provided mechanical, electrical and fire protection design services for the construction of single store prefab building to serve as a vehicle storage and welding shop for National Grid in Brightwaters, NY.  The facility fit out was split to include 1/3 of the area for vehicle storage, 1/3 as a welding shop, and 1/3 for support spaces (locker room, toilet facilities, break area, office space.) The storage and welding areas were provided with heating and ventilation only.  The support areas were provided with heating, ventilation and air conditioning.
