Bryan D. Cotton, LEED AP, DCEP has joined Emtec Consulting Engineers as an Associate Partner. Bryan’s extensive experience in MEP Engineering, strong leadership skills, and industry knowledge, will be a great asset to Emtec’s already established management team.
Bryan has +40 years experience of working on a wide diversity of building types and sectors, leading multi-discipline Engineering and Facilities Management teams on projects in the US and internationally; including Europe, UK, Middle East, Canada, and Antarctica.
Bryan has a specific expertise in electrical infrastructure, and focus on today’s requirements of decarbonization and energy efficiency for large-scale projects. He has a wide diversity of experience in media, banking, legal, residential, retail, hospitality, commercial offices, new/repositioning buildings and business-critical systems build-outs, always with sustainability and at the forefront.
Prior to joining Emtec engineers Bryan worked at some of New Yorks most prestigious engineering firms, rising to Managing Partner, through his progressive career providing a construction an design solutions orientated approach to all MEP/FP and energy engineering projects across the US. Bryan has honed the ability to think on his feet and provide innovative and practical solutions with a hands-on collaborative team approach, that are aligned with the demands of the projects’ schedule, budget and overall goals. Bryan’s focus at Emtec is on strengthening new and existing client relationships, applying his team approach from project outset through final delivery, to foster long term lasting partnerships on all projects.
Bryan was born and educated in the UK and served in the British military as a Royal Engineer for 16+ years, before moving to the US in 1998. Bryan was educated at the Royal School of Military Engineering in Building Services and Electrical Engineering.
