What is your management style?
Andrew Solano: As an emerging leader I strongly encourage and influence Emtec’s corporate culture. Establishing a workplace with ownership and interdependence surrounded by hardworking professionals. I strive to be a mentor for junior engineers and provide them with a platform for growth.
Describe what you would consider to be ONE of your top career highlights:
Andrew Solano: For over 12 years I have worked diligently to establish Emtec as a partner of choice. Through relationship management and client satisfaction the firm has grown significantly expanding footprint beyond New York. In 2021 I was recognized by the firm and made Managing Partner, an achievement that is undoubtedly a top highlight of my career.
What award were you most proud to receive?
Andrew Solano: In 2021 I was awarded Long Island Business News “Rising Star” in Engineering award. This award recognized top professionals on Long Island who have made an impact in the real estate community. What advice would you give the next generation of leaders in your industry? Hard work will always lead to success, and there is always something new to learn. Don’t be afraid to tackle new challenges and ask questions. This is still an evolving business, and it is important to stay abreast of innovation.
