Sustainable design requires more coordination between the design team and at times, innovated design solutions. As a consulting engineer, we play an active role in advising owners and guiding the design team through parts of the process. Being our specialization is MEP design, our focus is energy efficiency and indoor air quality.

Although not all of our projects pursue LEED certification, we always look for energy saving opportunities on each project because we believe we have an obligation to design the most efficient systems possible to benefit our clients and the surrounding environment. Indoor air quality, natural lighting, solar thermal and water conservation are always part of our design considerations.

Our commitment to sustainable practices is ongoing. We encourgage our employees to pursue LEED accreditation through a company wide program designed to help employees prepare for the exam. We have 15% of our staff LEED accredited thus far.
